The 5th Jackie Chan International Action Movie Week has been held in Datong, north China’s Shanxi Province, from July 21 to 27. The annual Jackie Chan International Action Film Week – initiated by the action film star – aims to bring recognition to filmmakers around the world who has contributed to action movies, discover and cultivate new filmmakers of action movies and provide a global platform for action filmmakers. 
It has been held for four times since 2015 and has become an important event for world action film filmmakers and stunt performers.

Hit n Run has nominated and made it into big 10, competing with 152 action movies from 36 countries was a big honor to the movie itself and to the country. Jackie Chan as the action legend himself was hosting the biggest event ever for the “Heroes” from all around the world and we are beyond proud to be part of it. Yayan Ruhian and Joe Taslim again proofed that they are one of the best as they were fully recognized by well known action filmmakers during the whole film week.

The participation of Indonesian films as well as the achievements in such prestigious events open the door to the global market. The Indonesian Embassy, Djauhari Oratmangun in Beijing and Nanyang Bridge Media will continue to more active in taking Indonesian films to the Chinese market.
