Challenges
“Boundless Love” is one of the key projects under the initiative of “One Belt One Road” by Chinese government bodies. BEKRAF (Indonesian Agency of Creative Economy) is entrusted to formulate incentive policies and attract foreign production especially Chinese products. The production has demanding and critical timeline and scopes that required expert help and support.

Based on the premise of Bekraf’s objectives in promoting Indonesian tourism and nurture local film industry, we offered end-to-end production service for the China-meets-Indonesia inspired feature film “Boundless Love”. The film is based on a true story originated in Palembang, Indonesia, in a company invested by Shenhua Group.

Results
“Boundless Love” wrapped on time within the given budget. The impact of the project extended to diplomatic level where Bekraf was able to form a strong relationship with Chinese and Indonesian film industry. We were able to develop close collaboration with municipal government and tourism board of Bandung, Palembang and Jakarta, as well as partnership with private companies such as Jababeka. This boosted the brand of Indonesia tourism in China, as well as mutual understanding and partnership between Indonesian and China.
