- Celebrating 70 Years of China-Indonesia Diplomatic Relationship Through Chinese Online Screening Festival
Jakarta, 20 January 2020 – The inaugural launch of the Chinese Drama and Chinese Miracle programs was held at the Jakarta Philatelic Building on January 20, 2020, at 9.30 am. This event is organized by Nanyang Bridge Media, where Nanyang Bridge Media is also a communication link for the two countries, China and Indonesia. Deputy Director of East Asia and Pacific at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Elizani Nadia Sumampouw, Cultural Attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia to China, Arianto Surojo, Cultural Attache of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Indonesia, Zhou Bin and Vice President of Guangxi Radio and Television (GXRT), Zheng Kui, attend this inaugural launch event.
“Chinese Drama” and “Miracle China” are 2 names of programs that were specially selected to be shown in Indonesia. Both programs are broadcast to celebrate Chinese New Year and will then be screened regularly on the TVRI channel. Programs that will be broadcast include TV drama series and documentaries, with 15 titles, 2 drama series and 13 documentaries. The premiere will air on January 20, 2020. China and Indonesia have had very good relations for several years. This can be seen from the long period of time between the two countries. The year 2020 will be a historic year, where this year will be a testament to the good relations that have been lived by the two countries for 70 years.
