On 8th December 2019, the biggest Indonesian film award, Festival Film Indonesia (FFI) was held at Grand Studio Metro TV, Jakarta. This annual event was attended by Indonesian top actors and filmmakers such as Chand Parwez Servia, Angga Dwimas Sasongko, Christine Hakim, Reza Rahadian, Adhisty Zara, Raihaanun, Ringgo Agus Rahman, Gina S. Noer, Riri Riza, and many more.

The awarding night, which was long-awaited by the moviegoers and also filmmakers, went successfully. “Kucumbu Tubuh Indahku”, a film directed by Garin Nugroho, brought home 8 trophies, making it the winner of most awards last night. Meanwhile, the best lead actress award goes to Raihaanun, for her role in “27 Steps of May”. And “Keluarga Cemara” got the award for The Best Adaptation Script and The Best Soundtrack.

Before claiming their victory at FFI, “Keluarga Cemara” and “27 Steps of May” has also received great enthusiasm from the Chinese market when it was screened in China at IFS 2019 and Silk Road International Film Festival, with a total number of 3,500 audiences.

As official distributors of the films, Nanyang Bridge Media, has also brought the films to a lot more Chinese audiences through festivals and public screening, such as Shanghai International Film Festival, Beijing International Film Festival, Zhejiang Youth Film Festival, etc.
